What's On

Maintenance of the Scallops near 5 Ways, Tuesday 20 November at 10am

Today's task will involve removing regrowth from the scallop near 5 Ways (scallop 6, about 800m towards Redbourn from Roundwood Park School) and coppicing a hazel in the hedge line to extend the view. Cuttings will be dragged down to the small scallop (scallop 5) 130m back towards Redbourn, where cuttings will be burnt
Tooling, safety equipment, gauntlets and morning refreshments will be provided. If staying into the afternoon, please bring a packed lunch. Wear old clothes, and stout footwear
Please confirm if you are coming so we can bring sufficient tooling. Contact Roger T on 01582 763560, or on 07391640515 or eemail
