Volunteer Work Party at Hemel Hempstead - Weds 26th February from 9.30 am

Date Wednesday 26 February - 9.30 to 12.30

To be lead by Roger Green:

Meeting point Godwins Halt - behind Hartwell Ford (Redbourn Road, HP2 7AZ)

For those arriving by car, park at the end of Dione Road, Highfield which is very close to the Nickey Line.


First area

Finish removing any litter under Godwins Halt

Coppice any small trees/branches on the far side.

Brush cut the remaining brambles and rake up

Second area

Lopper the sides of the path at the Redbourn Road end of Yew Tree Wood and the perimeters of the green area.

Lopper any vegetation around the edge to facilitate litter removal.

Coppice any small trees if required

Brush cut where required
