Volunteer Work Party at Hemel Hempstead - Thursday 10th November

This work party will be at Solway/Fletcher Lane Bridge in Hemel Hempstead on the Nickey Line, commencing at 10.00. The work will involve removing self-sets (using mattocks and tree poppers as well as bow saws), the cutting back of vegetation and some litter picking at the bridge itself. We will work from the bridge towards Keens Fields.

The work party will meet at the bottom of the steps at Solway/Fletcher Lane Bridge in Hemel Hempstead at 10.00. We have arranged parking (limited) at St Paul’s Church, Fletcher Way, otherwise there is parking on the roads nearby.

We plan to work all day (through until 3.00 pm) – please bring lunch for those who plan staying into the afternoon. Please bring anything else wanted for a coffee break (but we will provide biscuits)

Volunteers are requested to bring their own gauntlets (if preferred); other tooling and kit will be provided.

If you plan to come along please let James know beforehand and whether you intend to leave around lunchtime or work all day:

Why not come along to one of our working parties and help with the management of the Nickey Line?

If you are interested, contact us with your details and we shall email you with future work parties
