Volunteer Work Party Thursday 9th February up the NL from Redbourn Roundabout

This work party will be lead by James and will be on the Harpenden side of Redbourn Lane (just over from the car park near the roundabout), commencing at 10.00. The work will involve continuing with the coppicing and the cutting back of vegetation down the path towards Redbourn Lane (which we began at the 5 January work party). In addition we will have a small group working as our own ‘Time Team’ uncovering the structure that was discovered when we recently worked in the same area. 

The plan is to work all day – please bring lunch for those who plan staying into the afternoon. Please bring drinks for a coffee break. Depending on progress we may finish early.

Volunteers are requested to bring their own gauntlets (if preferred); other tooling and kit will be provided.

We will meet at the top of the slope on the Nickey Line path up from Redbourn Lane towards Harpenden. Limited parking is available in the car park near Redbourn Lane roundabout. Please be sure to take care crossing the road from the car park !
