What's On

Volunteer Work Party, Thursday 23 February 2023 10am to 3pm at Owens Sidings

We will be working at Owens Sidings, located about 1K in the Hemel direction from the tunnel under the M1, and the main task will be to further control the vegetation to improve the habitat by letting more light in , and maintaining the views out to the north. We will also be further exposing the base of the platelayer's hut exposed last autumn.

If you intend coming, please contact Roger on rogerjan76@gmail.com, as it makes it easier to bring in the tooling if we know who will be attending. We have kindly been given permission to park up to four cars at the Aubrey Park Hotel on the B487, using the car park at the rear of the hotel, but please book through me if you wish to park at the hotel

Mid morning biscuits will be provided, but please bring your own drink, and a packed lunch if you intend staying after lunch. We will also provide tooling, gauntlets and safety equipment. Wear warm clothing, and stout footwear
