What's On

Volunteer Work Party by Hunters Oak, Wednesday 15th March fróm 10am to 3pm


 

This is the work party originally arranged for Thursday 9th March.

Meet on the Nickey Line at 10am at the at the bottom of the ramp from the top end of Hunters Oak

For this, the last full work party of the winter season, the task will be working from the meet point towards the Three Cherry Tree Lane Bridge to the west, removing vegetation close to the path on both sides, whilst leaving the vegetation further back which screens the houses.

We will be also be removing ivy from trees close to the Nickey Line alongside the private woodland to lighten the path and  to expose the wood for path users to better appreciate.

We will supply tooling and safety equipment, and biscuits for the morning break, Wear stout shoes and appropriate clothing, and if you stay beyond 1pm, bring a packed lunch as well
