Cycling
The Nickey Line forms part of Route 57 of the Sustrans National Cycle Network which continues through Harpenden to Wheathampstead and Welwyn Garden City.

From Harpenden, Sustrans Route 6 goes south to St Albans & Watford, and north to Luton & Milton Keynes. | How to get there
By Road
There are various access points throughout the Line. Parking is mainly via local streets or town centre car parks.
Park Hill in Harpenden normally has easy parking with level access for disabled people. (Take care over parking restrictions especially during school times!)
Near Redbourn, there is a small car park at the bottom of Harpenden Lane by the Redbourn bypass, grid reference TL 112 128 (The entrance is narrrow so you are recommended to go round the roundabout first then turn right - with care - into the car park.) There is also street parking on Redbourn side of roundabout. The main roads here can be busy so do take care when crossing.
By Train
Harpenden train station is about 1 mile from the Nickey Line. Hemel Hempstead station is nearer two miles.
