Wildlife Interpretation BoardOur well visited wildlife interpretation board - funded by the Big Lottery Fund - was set up in April 2009 opposite Knott Wood. It covers wildlife topics and our thanks go to the art team of Jenny Jackson, Roger Reynolds and Hazel Wilkinson for their great work. Jenny also managed the project overall. It was installed by a joint team of the Countryside Management Service and Friends volunteers. Note how the vegetation has been cleared and the hedges lowered to open up the views. Mayor Pat Kent inspected the new board on behalf of Harpenden Town Council.
