Small Workparty, Thursday, 29th August 2024, Midland Road Bridge Hemel Hempstead

A small volunteer work party is planned for Thursday, 29th August 2024 (maximum  three/four volunteers).

The work party will be at the Midland Road Bridge, the Hemel Hempstead end of the Nickey Line (the junction of Midland Road/Adeyfield Road/Lower Adeyfield Road) commencing at 10.00 am, finishing no later than 1.00 pm.

The workparty will be to brushcut and clear the undergrowth behind the bridge and open up the start of the paths and clear weeds and ivy from the bridge brickwork; if there is time we will also litter pick back to Keens Fields.

If possible please bring your own hat, gauntlets and refreshments (anticipating hot weather, plenty of water) – biscuits will be provided along with tooling.
