We are planning a morning workparty at Redbourn on Thursday, 22 October, starting at 10.00 and finishing no later than 13.00, but as usual just come along for as long as you wish.
The plan is for brush and tree clearance on the south side of the Nickey Line between the Flowers Farm entrance and the M1 tunnel (at the western end of Redbourn) – continuing work we commenced last year – along with some brushcutting and scrub clearance by the tunnel entrance.
We will meet at 10.00 at the start of path where it crosses the Flowers Farm access road.
Parking is available at the western end of Redbourn village either on the Hemel Hempstead Road (not the by-pass!) near Gaddesden Lane/St Mary’s Church or there is limited parking available at the pull-in opposite Gaddesden Lane.
Tooling provided. Biscuits will be offered for the mid-morning break – please bring a drink.
