We are having a morning only work party on Sat 14th February alongside Knott Wood. What better way to celebrate Valentine’s day, the Patron Saint of love and beekeepers ?
Meet at 10:00 by the bench situated at the Redbourn end of Knott Wood (W3W kite.when.themes)
The plan is to clear scrub and coppice the (mainly) hazel along both sides towards Harpenden until we reach the first scalloped viewpoint or 1.00 pm, whichever comes first.
Stout footwear essential. Tools, gauntlets and safety gear will be provided. Please bring your own drinks for the mid- morning break (we will provide biscuits)
There is limited parking by the Redbourn roundabout if you don’t wish to walk or cycle to the work location,
