On Thursday, 4 December we will hold a work party on the Nickey Line at Cherry Tree Lane Bridge. starting at 10am The plan is to remove new growth on either side of this historic bridge to maintain good sight lines. The intention is that this will be a full day work party. This will be led by Roger. Parking is available in Hunters Oak alongside the Nickey Line. and on entering the Nickey Line turn in the Redbourn direction for about 300m to the bridg.e. This workparty will depend on weather conditions and may be cancelled at short notice – volunteers registered to come will be emailed by no later than 08.30 on the day. Please bring a drink (biscuits provided for mid-morning break) and lunch if you plan to stay until the afternoon. Equipment will be provided but volunteers may prefer to bring their own work gloves – strong footwear is a prerequisite. If you wish to volunteer please let Roger know (also let him know if you would expect to do the whole day) on rogerjan76@gmail.com
