This walk from Redbourn incorporates little if any of the Nickey Line but it makes a pleasant excursion. ( Shorter Circuit under 3 miles / approx 4 Kms)

 

 

Notes:

  • This walk can be used to extend other walks to suit your own inclination.
  • Terrain – meadow paths and good tracks on the shorter route. Field crop crossing (ploughed in season) and some contour on the longer Eastern route.
  • Redbournbury Mill (and Bakery) is (at the time of writing but subject to change) open for sale of flour or bread Saturday mornings 09.00 - 13.00. The Mill shop and museum are also open Sundays 13.00 - 16.30. See their website.
